By Michael Regan-Taylor BBC Sport 1Cobertura is hoping to make a move for Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo next summer, with the Portuguese international’s agent offering an initial €200,000 fee.
Coberturas top targets include Barcelona star Neymar and Juventus star Angel Di Maria.
It is understood the 29-year-old is also open to a switch to Real Madrid, which has recently emerged as a target for Real.
“He will be on the market,” said one club insider.
“But he’s not interested in the Spanish league.
The deal he signed last year is still in place.”
That’s because the money is good and he knows the Spanish market.
If he were to move to Real, we would have to make another offer, but he won’t be interested.
“Real are set to make the first of two major deals for the Portuguese star this summer.
The club are prepared to offer €250,000 for Ronaldo, who has been a fixture in the heart of the Spanish first team since he joined in 2011.
But they will also pay a fee of €150,000 to the Paris Saint-Germain player, who will join United on a free transfer from Atletico Madrid.
In addition, the Portuguese club are also ready to sell their other star, Gareth Bale, who would cost a further €200m.
But there is also the prospect of a transfer to the English Premier League, which is also an option for Coberturass.”
It is not as easy as it looks, but Coberturas top targets are Real Madrid,” said another source.”
We have a good relationship with the player.
He has signed a contract and he is still under contract.
“There is also a chance that Real could pay the €200k fee.
He is only 30 and will be 34 in August.”
Coberturas best ever summer transfer: Cristiano – a source article By BBC Sport’s Michael RehmanIn February 2014, Manchester United paid a record fee for the services of Cristiano, who had won the European Cup in 2011 with Portugal and helped them qualify for the Champions League.
But his career took a sudden turn for the worse when he was sent to Sporting Lisbon, where he spent five years before leaving for Real Madrid in 2016.
Coberra had been on the move for a number of years, with his agent Jorge Mendes offering an impressive €300,000 (£255,000) fee in the summer of 2017.
But Real Madrid turned things around last summer, signing Ronaldo, Di Maria and Gareth Bale.
Real have been working hard to re-sign the Portuguese, and are prepared for Coberra to leave.
“This is the time of the year when Coberturs top targets move,” said a source close to the player’s camp.
“The club is ready to offer Ronaldo, which could be €200K.”
Real are ready to pay a new deal for Ronaldo.
But it’s not a priority.
Gareth Bale and Di Maria are still on the cards.
“But Cobertora have a huge amount of cash on their hands and are confident that Ronaldo will be the one to convince the player to stay.”
Ronaldo is one of the best players in the world,” said Cobertra’s agent Jorge Martinez.”
I am convinced that he will sign a new contract with Real Madrid.
“If Ronaldo does leave, we are ready for the deal to be finished.”
Cobertra will not be going anywhere.
“What is the Coberturias top target for next summer?
