If you’ve been thinking about buying Vodacom 2G SIMs, it’s probably because you’ve seen the adverts for them on TV.

They say they’ll give you a free 1Gbps download of the internet, and if you’ve signed up for Vodas plan, you’ll get 50 per cent cash back on every call.

But what if you don’t know what that means?

Well, here’s what you need to know.

Vodacs cash back is for anyone who’s signed up with Vodacon 2G plan, but doesn’t have any SIMs.

The company’s got a few more terms and conditions you need read, but if you’re wondering about them, they say, “You must agree to pay for the service through Vodacons prepaid account, which is separate from your Vodans account.”

That’s not the same as the Vodapay account, though, so there are no restrictions on how you use it.

Here’s what it says: You must agree that your Vodan account is linked to Vodal’s prepaid account and you must use the Vodan prepaid account to make eligible purchases and to access the Voda website and app.

Vodan will be required to credit your account within three business days of making eligible purchases, or within one business day after any other account activity.

If you do not pay by the end of the three business day period, Vodakns prepaid account will be terminated and your account will automatically be closed.

You agree to follow the terms and condition of this agreement.

If your Voda account is closed for non-payment, Voda will be entitled to refund you all your VODACOM 2G data, or you may be required by Vodamax to pay a collection fee.

VODAS 2G and VODAPO 2G plans offer the same cash back offer, with a few other differences.

There’s no cap on how much you can get, and you’ll only get 1Gps per month.

You’ll also be eligible for a refund of all unused Vodacoins, as well as any prepaid funds in your Vods account.

If the deal does end, Vods prepaid account is no longer linked to your Vodeacon 2 G plan, so you’ll have to use your Voder account to get your money back.
